WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
Please book early in your pregnancy to ensure I have space available for your due date.  I can take the odd last minute booking.

HOW DO WE KNOW WHEN TO SCHEDULE A NEWBORN SESSION?
We don’t!  Not until baby makes their arrival.  Because of this, I book your due date on my calendar to ensure a space within the first two weeks of baby’s life for the session to take place.

WHY DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH A NEWBORN IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS?
During the first couple weeks of baby’s life, they will be very sleepy and will still be able to curl up into adorable poses.  After two weeks, they become much more alert and stretch their limbs a lot more.

WHAT IF MY BABY IS OLDER THAN TWO WEEKS?
That’s okay!  I photograph newborns up to five weeks old.  However, please note that the older they are – the harder they will be for me to photograph.  So we may not get sleepy or curled up shots!

WHY ARE THE NEWBORNS NAKED IN MOST OF YOUR WORK?
This is all a matter of personal preference.  But to me it symbolizes their pureness.  They are ALL baby and that is what we focus on.  We also tend to forget (all too soon) the small details like rolls, wrinkles and dry skin.

HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN SESSION TAKE?
This will all depend on your baby.  Anywhere from 2-4 hours.

WHAT DO I BRING?
Just you and your baby (and your partner!)!  Bring some snacks to keep your energy up.  I do have a mini fridge with water and juice, and do have coffee and tea available. Please do bring any special outfits, blankets or momentous you would like your baby photographed in. Otherwise I’ve got it covered.

CAN WE DO PARENT AND SIBLING IMAGES?
Absolutely!  Please let me know before your session if this is something you will want so I can plan the shoot better.

DO YOU PROVIDE ALL OF THE PROPS?
I sure do!  You don’t have to bring a thing!

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept all major credit cards, cash, check and email money transfer.  Please note that any bounced check will incur a $50 insufficient funds charge.
